The use of Hetzner is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable presentation of our website. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The consent can be revoked at any time.
We have concluded a data processing agreement (AVV) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only according to our instructions and in compliance with the DSGVO.
The servers are located exclusively in data centers within the European Union (Germany).

Server Log Files

5. Registration and User Account
Registration on This Website
You can register on this website to use the functions of the marketplace. During registration, we collect the following data:
- Email address
- Username
- Display name (optional)
- Consent to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (timestamp)
Registration and login are carried out via a passwordless procedure (Magic Link): After entering your email address, you receive a 6-digit confirmation code by email, which is valid for 15 minutes. No permanent password is stored.
The processing of data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and for the performance of a contract (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). You can revoke consent already given at any time. The lawfulness of data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data stored during registration is retained by us for as long as you are registered on this website and is subsequently deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Buyer Account
If you act as a buyer, you can additionally provide the following data:
- Recipient name
- Delivery address (street, postal code, city, country)
- Preference for anonymized proxy shipping
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, as it is required for the processing of orders and shipping.
Seller Profile
If you register as a seller, you can additionally provide the following data in your profile:
- Display name
- Profile description (bio)
- Profile picture and banner image
- Profile attributes (e.g., age range, body type, hair color — voluntary information)
- Settings for offered services (custom requests, finishing options, digital content)
- Policies for custom requests
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (performance of a contract) and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (consent, in particular for voluntary profile information). The data you provide in your public profile is visible to other users of the platform.
6. Orders and Marketplace Operations
Order Processing
When placing an order, we process the following data:
- Ordered items and order number
- Price and shipping costs
- Delivery address
- Payment information (see section "Payment Providers")
- Timestamp of the order
Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the performance of the purchase contract.
Custom Requests
If you as a buyer submit custom requests to sellers, the following data is processed:
- Request description and desired specifications
- Negotiation history (proposals and counterproposals)
- Agreed price and delivery details
- Request status
Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract).
Reviews
When you submit a review for an order, the review text, rating score, and your username are stored and displayed publicly. Processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in a trustworthy marketplace).
Retention Periods for Order Data
Order data is retained for 10 years after completion of the order in accordance with commercial and tax law retention obligations (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB). After expiration of this period, the data is deleted unless further retention obligations exist.
7. Messaging System
Communication Between Users
Our platform offers an internal messaging system through which buyers and sellers can communicate directly with each other. Communication takes place in real time via an encrypted WebSocket connection (Socket.io).
The following data is processed:
- Message content
- Sender and recipient (user IDs)
- Timestamps of sending and reading
- Attachments (if any)
Messages are processed by an automated filtering system to prevent the sharing of contact information or inappropriate content. The original content of the message is stored for dispute resolution and auditing purposes. The filtered version is displayed to the recipient.
Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (performance of a contract) and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in platform security and dispute resolution).
Messages are stored for the duration of the account usage. Upon deletion of the account, messages are anonymized or deleted, unless legal retention obligations exist.
8. Media Uploads and Content Storage
Uploading Images and Videos
When you upload images or videos to the platform (e.g., profile pictures, product images, gallery images, digital content), the following data is processed:
- Image file or video file
- Original file name
- File size and file type (MIME type)
- Timestamp of the upload
- Caption and alt text (if provided)
- Moderation status
Uploaded media is stored on our own self-hosted storage system (MinIO, S3-compatible) on servers in Germany. No transfer to third-party cloud services takes place.
To optimize display, variants (thumbnails, different resolutions) are automatically created. Processing takes place asynchronously via an internal queue system (Redis/Bull).
Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (performance of a contract — the display of products and profiles is an essential part of the marketplace service).
9. Payment Providers
General
For the processing of payments, we use external payment service providers. We ourselves do not store any complete payment instrument data (e.g., credit card numbers). Payment data is transmitted directly to the respective payment service provider.
During payment processing, we store the following on our platform:
- Payment reference (transaction ID of the payment provider)
- Payment status
- Amount and currency
- Timestamp of the payment
- Payment method (type of provider)
Bank Transfer
Alternatively, payments can be made by bank transfer. In this case, you will receive a payment reference from us to include in the transfer purpose. The allocation of the payment is carried out manually by our customer service.
Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (performance of a contract).
10. Email Communication
Transactional Emails
We send emails in connection with the following processes:
- Confirmation codes for login and registration (Magic Link)
- Confirmations when changing your email address
- Order confirmations and status updates
- System notifications
Sending is carried out via the email service provider Mailjet. The provider is Mailgun Technologies Inc. (Mailjet), 112 E Pecan St #1135, San Antonio, TX 78205, USA, with European office: Mailjet SAS, 13-13 bis rue de l'Aubrac, 75012 Paris, France.
For each email, we process:
- Recipient email address
- Email content (confirmation code, order details, etc.)
- Time of sending
Mailjet processes the email addresses of recipients and the email content for the purpose of technical delivery. Processing by Mailjet takes place on servers within the European Union. We have concluded a data processing agreement (AVV) with Mailjet.

Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (performance of a contract).
11. Seller Verification
Age Verification
Sellers must complete an age verification process before their account is activated. The following data is processed:
- Session ID of the verification process
- Name of the verification provider
- Verification status (pending, completed, failed, expired)
- Time of verification
- Verification result (only: verified yes/no)
We do not store the identification documents or biometric data used during verification. These are processed exclusively by the external verification provider. We only receive the result of the verification.
Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO (fulfillment of a legal obligation) and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in the security of the platform).
12. Tax Obligations and Compliance
Tax Information of Sellers
Pursuant to the Plattformen-Steuertransparenzgesetz (PStTG), we as the platform operator are obligated to collect, verify, and report certain data of reportable sellers to the Bundeszentralamt für Steuern (BZSt).
The following data is collected from sellers:
- Tax identification number (Steuer-ID)
- VAT identification number (USt-IdNr.), if applicable
- Legal form (individual or business)
- Full legal name or company name
- Date of birth (for natural persons)
- Address (street, postal code, city, country)
- Small business status pursuant to § 19 UStG
This data is verified by our platform and, upon reaching the reporting thresholds (revenue > EUR 2,000 or > 30 transactions per calendar year), reported to the BZSt. Upon reporting, a data snapshot of the seller data current at the time of reporting is created and archived.
Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO (fulfillment of a legal obligation pursuant to PStTG and AO).
Tax data is retained for 10 years after the end of the reportable period in accordance with statutory retention obligations.
13. Invoicing
Order and Commission Invoices
Invoices are generated for each completed order:
- Order invoices for buyers (items, price, VAT, delivery address)
- Commission invoices for sellers (sale price, platform commission, payout amount)
The generated invoices contain the personal data required for invoicing (name, address, invoice amount, tax number).
Data processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO (fulfillment of tax and commercial law obligations pursuant to § 14 UStG, § 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
Invoices are retained for 10 years.
14. Account Deletion
Deletion of Your User Account
You can request the deletion of your user account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data is handled as follows:
- Immediately deleted: Profile pictures, profile description, voluntary profile information, cookie consents (insofar as proof is no longer required)
- Anonymized: Messages (sender identifier is removed), reviews (username is anonymized)
- Retained in accordance with legal obligations: Order data, invoices, and tax data are retained for the legally required duration (generally 10 years) and subsequently deleted
Processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO (statutory retention obligations) and Art. 17 DSGVO (right to erasure).
15. Data Transfer to Third Parties
Recipients of Personal Data
Your personal data is only transferred to third parties in the following cases:
